Day 1- Favorite songs

Unanswered prayers - I have always loved garth brooks. I remember when I was little I and me and my first would be listening to him and I told them that I was going to marry him and they told me that he had gray hair. After they told me that I wasn't interested in him and I just loved his music since then.

Gravity - I just really like Sara B. and my roommate Amy introduced this song to me.

Dream big - I just love this song it has a good message. I got to know this song because my nephew used to listen to them all time. It actually used to be my ring tone too.

Wish you were here- this song is just so sad, I remember listening to it when I was little at my sisters house

My heart will go on- this song just brings me back to when I had to go to the babsitters house. Me and her daughter would act out the words to this song.

Terrifying ride

So on Monday and Wednesday nights I have math class. This wednesday (Feb 17) I asked Amy to take me to class because there was a game and I told Amy that I would find a ride home. So when I got to class I asked one of my friends to take me home and he agreed. I actually had a test that day so I went and found my friend when I was finished with my test and we started for his car. When we got outside we realized that it had snowed like 4 inches in the whole two hours we were in class. I told him that I lived on 800 North but that he didn't have to go down that way we could a different way that didn't involve going down a steep hill. He insisted that he would be OK and we would make it just fine. I thought he was crazy but he was driving so I let him do whatever he wanted. So as we turned down 800 N. I could see one car stopped in the middle of the road, another trying to come up the hill and then another one was stuck trying to get out of their drive way. We started down the hill to see the car in front of us move forward a little and then silde side ways and almost hit a car and then we tried to see if we could go a different way but we could turn around. Then we started down the hill but this time we were sliding and we slid past the car that was side ways and then we straightened out and slid between the car that was trying to go up the hill and the car that was stuck. Finally at the bottom of the hill he gained control of the car again. As we got closer to my apartment I told him to just stop on the road and I would walk the rest of the way. I told him that he would get stuck if he drove into my parking lot but he said that he would be fine. So he drove into my parking lot and I go out of his car and said thank you and went inside my apartment. About 5 minutes later there was a knock at my door and it was him telling me that he was stuck and almost hit a car. So I grabbed my coat and got in his car, put it in second gear and pushed the gas. The car slide forward and I was afraid that I was going to hit a car but I didn't. He got in and tried to get out of the parking lot but had a hard so he had to back out. Before he left he said "remember when you told me not to come back here," I said "yes and you should have listened." He just shook his head and left. I was so scared as we were going down the hill just hopeing that we wouldn't crash into any cars and luckily we didn't. All I have to say is that it's a pretty great story to tell.

Valentines Day

Well about a month and a half ago I knew that Valentines day this year would not turn out the way I hoped it would. So I decided that I would show love for the other people in my life. When the day started I thought it would be a good idea go to Papa Murphys and buy my roommates a heart shapped pizza. So at about 5 I went to get the pizza and much to my surprise the rest of the world had the same idea. I had to wait for about 20 minutes at Papa Murphys before my pizza was finally finished. That wasn't worst part because they were also out of cheese bread so we had to get a cinnamon wheel instead.Witch was a lot better than it looked. But I have to say that the pizza was well worth the wait. So as Amy, Paige and me ate our pizza we enjoyed the movie Valentines Day. My mom also made my valentines day pretty great too. At about 4 there was a knock at the door and there was a bag full of candy and ballon. I knew this present was coming but it still made my day. Even though this day has not been what I original thought it would be, I am happy that I got to celebrate it with the best roommates a girl could ask for.

Yesterday....GREAT!!!

I can say that after yesterday I feel a lot better about my whole life. For the past month I have been on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. One day I would be so happy and then the next day I would feel the complete opposite. I have also felt really lost to, I felt like I wanted to do something that my mom wouldn't want me to do (which is pretty much anything that involves me leaving the state). Then one day when I was out to lunch with an old friend she started to talk about her patriarchal blessing and after that I knew that it was time to get mine. When I got home I called my bishop and get an interview with for that same night. My bishop had some troubles getting me my recommend because he didn't have the right papers but after a week everything was already for me to call the patriarch. I set up a meeting with the patriarch so he could get to know me. At that meeting we set a up a time for me to get blessing. The time finally came yesterday to get mine. All I have to say about it is that was the best thing that I could have ever done. It just put at ease everything that I have been worrying about. It also strengthened my testimony and let me know that I am making the right choices. Now I just wish that I already had a copy. I can't wait for that to come. After this experience I know that I want to worthy enough to receive all the blessing that were promised to me. I just have some advice for all of you if you haven't got your patriarchal blessing call your bishop today and if you have read it more.
