The little brother I always wish I had.....

About a week ago one of the best people I know was in a tragic car accident that took his life. His name was Logan and I went to his house everyday for about 7 years. Growing up he was kind of like the little brother I never had. I was at work when the accident happened and I remember hearing the ambulence and then I saw the fire truck and thought oh no something terrible has happened. After that I had forgotten about the fire truck and ambulence till my mom called me at 10:45 and told me that Logan had died I just started crying. My mom got home from work about 10 minutes later and we went right up to his house. It was so hard to be in his house I hugged all his family and just sat in chair till my mom had said "I think we should go," twice. That night I had a hard time even wanting to go to sleep but I finally did and I dreamt about Logan most of the night. I don't have a lot of memories of Logan because I was so young that last time I really hung out with him. But the strongest memory I have is the day I graduated from high school he asked me if i had a cell phone and what the number was. I thought it was a little werid but I gave it to him and he just texted me for a while, all he wanted was to know how was doing. That made my day even better, it let me know that he still still cared even though we didn't talk very much. Today was his funeral and just before was his viewing and as I was looking at him it still didn't seem real. I know he is a better place and I will see him again soon. I am just going to miss seeing him around town. This is the only picture I have of Logan and I it is really old because I was like 9 and he was 7.....
This are Logan's lovely brothers and sisters, they are also like my second family and I love them so much....
I have been looking at a lot of pictures of him lately and I have realized that he loved to make this face. I am really going to miss seeing this face.

I am going...........

On a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints to the Australia Perth Mission. Well it all started about a year ago when the thought of you should go on a mission popped into my head, and with all my heart I tried to ignore that feeling. Then I met a pretty nice guy that helped me forget this prompting that I was having. Then after about 3 months me and that guy ended. I knew it was for the best then but it still hurt. Then about a month and a half after that ended I got to the point that I felt like I was over it but I still wasn't happy. So I went and had interview with my bishop because I figured it was time to get my patriarchal blessing . Then a couple of weeks later it was time to get my blessing and after much prayer and fasting, I was ready. A couple of my friends had told me to go to my blessing with questions I had prayed about and asked should I go on a mission, was the very first question that I had. Let me tell you I got a pretty clear answer and from then on I knew I was destined to go on a mission. And as soon as I accepted the fact that I was going a mission, my whole attitude changed and I was the happiest I have been in a while.

Angel Moroni

So a couple days ago in Brigham city a friend and I went to watch Angel Moroni go on top of the temple and man I have to say it was way cool to watch. We wanted a good seat to see it go up so we got there two hours early and we sat through the wind, rain and intensen heat. The best thing was seeing all the missionaries walking around... I was jealous and wish I could leave my real life for a while to teach the gospel. Anyway at 12:30 the construction workers annouced that Angel Moroni couldn't go up till the wind go below 5 MPH and finally around 1:45 he finally went up and it took about 30 minutes to get him secured and then at end everyone cheered. It was so great and I am glad that I decided to go.Here the temple is before Moroni...Here he is just hanging out...Me and my bestest friend with the temple behind us

Here he flying....There he is finally now connected to the top of the temple.......and here is the finished project.

Oh p.s. I will have a big annoucement to make in about 3 weeks so keep watching my blog and facebook and you will be really excited for me I just know it.

Fun lately......

I know I haven't blogged very much lately... it's just harder to do with a home computer that sucks. So whenever you see that I have blogged it means that I have gotten my lazy butt off the couch and made it to the library to use their internet.

Well a lot has happened.....

Like on the 4th of July two friends I drove down to provo to the Stadium of Fire. We really went to see concerts that come along with it. We left Tremonton at 2 and the doors didn't even open till 6 but it was good thing because we got lost and it took us 3 hours to get to provo instead of hour and fourty-five minutes. We learned that there is no BYU exit and then I remembered hearing that BYU and UVU share housing so we found a UVU exit and evenutally found our to BYU but then we had no clue where to park so we drove around trying to decide where to park and eventually we just parked at a random house hoping we wouldn't get a ticket. Then we finally got in and had to wait forever for it start to we walked around and bought Brad P and David A shirts. Overall I loved Stadium of Fire and I would go again if someone amazing was performing. This is us leaving we look so excited and refreshedBrad brought 7 semi's with him crazy huhWe stopped at a random gas station and man I was so happy to see an ICEE machine... It has really hot this day. This is us at the end of the night trying to pretend that we weren't tried but man we had really done a lot

My night

Last night I went with Chantel to Minnetonka Cave to help with a girls camp activity. It was really fun were bad people in the cave and we had to try to get the girls to cross the bad line but none of them did. So we just sat there and played Uno and let my tell you that game is so hard to play in poorly lit cave. We all had a hard time figuring out what cards were blue and what ones were green. After we were finished with that we stopped at a Mexican resturant by Bear Lake and it Karaoke night so Chantel, Gentry, Shari and I all sang Don't Stop Believin by Journey and then Cody and Ryan Sang Gone by Montgomery Gentry. It was all really fun!!! I tried uploading the videos on here and it didn't work so you will just have to go to my Facebook page and watch them.

My injury...

It all started last Wednesay when I was at work and I realized the lights outside needed to be turned on. I usually ask the cooks to do it but I decided that I wanted to so I walked down to the basemnent and when I got down there Irealized there was water on the floor. When I saw the water I started to walking really carefully. I finally got the lights turned on and forgot about the water and I started running and then I slipped and fell. It hurt so bad I thought I wasn't going to be able to make it up the stairs but I finally did and when I got up there I went the bathroom. When I got to the bathroom room I checked out my leg that really hurt and there was a huge red welt and there was also a big red mark on my arm. I thought oh great I will have a huge bruise on my leg and a little one on my arm. I was wrong I have a huge one on my arm that is hard hide and just a small one on my leg. I thought my bruise was cool at first now it is just annoying because everyone always asks me what happened. You can see by the picture how big it actually is, I just hope it goes away soon so I don't wake up thinking who is going to ask me today about my arm.

The best and worst blind date all in one

The monday of the week I moved home for the summer my mom came to Logan to do some shopping and whenever she comes over we always go to lunch. This time we decided to go to chuck a rama. While we were there we sat by two ladies and one of the ladies knew one of the employees and he came talked to them. After he left one of the ladies told me that I should give my number to him. Well I was really nervous about that because I don't usually just give my number to random people that I haven't even talked to. I thought about it for a little while and then I gave my number to the lady to give to the employee. I left chuck a rama thinking that I would never hear from him. But to my surprise that night he started texting me. We ended up going on a date that night. We went to MacDonald's and I just wanted ice cream but he ordered this big meal and when we got to the window his card didn't work (I had cash with me but there was no way I was going to pay for him to eat a big meal). He said "my bank has done this to me before, I just had a check of $1500." At first I didn't believe it but then I started to and then he decided that he wanted to try his card at Carl's Jr and guess what it didn't work there eaither. He was smarter that time and only ordered ice cream so I payed and he said "you shouldn't have to pay we will go to a really nice dinner like Texas Roadhouse," I said "it's ok don't worry about it." I believed him and the rest of the date went great we just drove around and talked. When he dropped me off at my apartment he said "I will text you in the next couple of days." He texted me the next day and told me that he got off early and I asked him what he was going to do with his free time and he never answered. I texted him the next day and then 2 more times after that. I thought it was really werid because he seemed interested but whatever I was just angry with myself for believing that something was going to happen. Then a couple days ago I heard he has a new girlfriend and they went out to dinner and he forgot his wallet. Isn't that crazy now I really know that what he pulled with me was just to get a something free. I have definitly learned a lesson that boys need to earn my trust and that I need to trust myself.
